So you want to be on our books?

Thank you for considering to be on our books. We at Xi Entertainments are a really friendly bunch, but unfortunately we do not have Bernard's Watch (yet). As such, this website is here to help the audition process go as smoothly as possible.

What are we looking for?

Anything that's suitable for a private or corporate function which can include but is not limited to:

Magicians, Musicians, Comedians, Dancers, Circus Skills, After Dinner Speakers, Anything different that will get at least a smile from an audience.

IF YOU SEND A DEMO CD/DVD PLEASE EITHER PRINT ONTO IT OR WRITE ONTO IT. DO NOT USE LABELS, OUR COMPUTERS LIKE TO EAT THEM FOR DINNER!

How does the money work?

It’s quite simple. We liase with each performer how much they want to charge and we take 15% of the total nett profit. All money comes through Xi Entertainments and as soon as all the money clears after the event occurs we pay you either through BACS, CHAPS or bank transfer straight away.

When are the auditions?

Just so were all singing from the same hymn sheet, stand up bible, magicians code of conduct etc. here are the available auditions at the moment:

Arrive Early otherwise if you turn up late you may not be seen.
There will be a drumkit, PA system and all performances will be filmed.
Please ensure that you prepare 3 songs, but prepared to only play a verse and chorus.

How do I book?

Please e-mail info@xientertainments.com with your performance name, contact number and timeslot with 2 other backup slots in case we are unable to give you the first choice.

PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL LARGE FILES SUCH AS HI RES PHOTOS, MP3 OR VIDEOS. THOSE MESSAGES WILL BE DELETED.

Please No Backing Tracks. We want to hear your lovely voices

On the day, ensure that you bring with you a CD/DVD with as much of the information required below as possible:

A .txt. file including the following:
Stage Name, Surname,  Forename, Contact Number, Alt Number, Address incl Post Code
Breakdown of costs (if you have a price structure in place)
How long you can play for
Set List
At least 3 professional Testimonials
At least 5 high quality varied photographs
Any Videos

Please note that attending an audition means that you accept all of Xi Entertainments terms of business, which can be found here.

It is helpful to give information for all performers in a group.
