Mark as Elvis is officially Britain's Best Elvis having one the title in a national competition against over 150 other Elvis'! Mark's show can be either self contained, using professionally recorded backing tracks, or live using a 7 or more piece band (7 is minimum really to recreate Elvis' live sound, however larger budgets would permit more backing singers and an even fuller band).
The set consists of primarily of Elvis' 70's classics such as 'Suspicious Minds'. 'The Wonder of You', 'American Trilogy' etc. performed by Mark wearing either his tassel jumpsuit, as worn by Elvis in 'That's The Way It Is' or the spectacular Aloha Eagle jumpsuit, which includes a rhinestone encrusted cape for the finale, as worn by the king in his historic 'Aloha From Hawaii via Satellite' show. Both of these are faithful copies of the originals imported by Mark from the U.S. of A at great expense! If multiple spots are required Mark also owns a '68 Comeback' leather outfit and has a second set of backing tracks that fit this outfit.
Mark takes personal pride in tailoring his act to suit his individual audience and can either perform straight for a dedicated of Elvis fans or incorporate more humour and audience participation for a family crowd, keeping even non Elvis fans entertained.
Mark has been seen on TV a number of time, including three times on 'Trisha', 'This Morning', 'The Really Useful Show', 'Dale Winton's The Other Half', 'Can't Cook, Won't Cook' and most recently on a Sky documentary titled 'The Secret Life Of...' following Mark's heat winning appearance in Blackpool for the Europe's No. 1 Elvis' competition.
Mark is available for bookings to Perform on Holiday Centres, in Theatres, at Social Clubs and Night Clubs with his amazing MGB band or with backing tracks.
