Dances are taught by experienced callers, and the emphasis is to learn the dances in a friendly and informal manner, so that even the most reticent of dancers will be enticed onto the floor.
The dances are geared towards the clientele, be they complete novices or more experienced dancers. We can cater for children, older people and mixed groups. The beauty of ceilidhs is that they are great ice-breakers, and naturally encourage people to mix freely and interact with each other.
Dancers will be walked through the dances and any unfamiliar moves explained, before they attempt them with the music - supported all the way by the caller.
